2026 Child Abuse Prevention Month

During CAP Month, Prevent Child Abuse Wyoming and partners emphasize that “each day is an opportunity to build the foundation for our future.” Children and families are the building blocks of society, and everyone has a role in helping children grow into healthy, thriving individuals. 

Each day offers a chance to support children’s physical, emotional, and social development while recognizing that all families sometimes need help. By fostering positive experiences and ensuring families have necessary resources, we create safe, stable, and nurturing spaces. 

Addressing inequity and injustice and prioritizing policies that support families strengthen communities, reduce stress, and help parents focus on their well-being and their children’s care.
